N.S.S Training college Pandalam is an aided college affiliated to the University of Kerala and comes under the control of the Zonal Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, Kottayam.The institution is recognized by NCTE.It is accredited by NAAC at B ++ level. The institution has been rendering outstanding contributions to the society ever since its establishment in the year in 1957.The Almamater of a number of promising teachers, the institution has been consistently showing excellent academic achievement owing to the dedication and teamwork of the staff.

We have a computerized library, which is kept open from 9am to 5 pm on all working days
1	All students of the college are members of the college library
2	A student is permitted to borrow two books at a time.
3	Books may not be retained by a student for more than14 days
4	A fine of Ps 50 will be levied for each student per week for delay in returning books
5	The Librarian may recall a book at any time even when normal period of loan is not over
6	A-photocopying machine is provided in the library. Documents can be photocopied at a nominal rate.
7	Students can avail the Internet facility in the library at a nominal rate.

Parent Teacher Association

It is a statutory body with Principal as President and an elected parent as the Vice- President. The executive of the PTA comprises three teachers and three parents in addition to the president. PTA envisages the overall development of the institution and the welfare of the students. It is a supporting body in all kinds of constructive activities in the college

Endowments
1.	Prf. K.P Chandrashekaran Nair Memorial Endowment, instituted by the teaching staff, is awarded to the student who scores the highest mark in the B.Ed examination.
2.	A cash award, instituted by PTA, is given to the students who score highest mark in each optional subject.
3.	The PTA also provides an amount to the financially backward students of the college.

College Magazine & Class magazine

The college magazine shall be published once in a year. All students are subscribers of the magazine. In addition, various class magazines are published.
